Toyota Camry Wheel Studs
Evening, I have a toyota camry le with V6. Today I had to change a tire and manage to break two wheel studs in the process. Is there a way to replace just the two broken studs and if so how is it done. Thanks

Yes, these are actually not to difficult.
You will have to remove the wheel, brake caliper (2 bolts) and the rotor.
When this is all off, take a mallet and knock those broken studs out the rear.
Install new then before you install the wheel, take a lug nut and tight it down on the two studs to draw the stud tight against the flange.

Uhh
How did this happen? Not cold in gerogia right? Did you have a nice sqare fit with the wrench before cranking? Not that it matters now.......to the best of my knowledge you will have to buy a new wheel.....meaning the part where the studs are forged to the plate.

Also make sure to first seat the new stud before mounting the wheel. Use a stack of washers over the stud and some lube on the threads, then crank the lug nut until the stud seats properly. Otherwise, during use the stud may creep and result in loss of preload on the lug nut once the wheel is mounted.
