91 Grand Am Blowing Fuses
ok i have a 91 grand am witrh the 2.5 and everytime i go to crank the engine it blows the fuel pu\ign fuse. any ideas were to look.

Try this. Go to the pump connection and run a wire from the pump to the battery. When you connect it to the battery see if it sparks is the the pump running or is it tryes to melt the wire.
If so the pump is frozen and grounded in the gas tank. It will blow the fuse and melt the wire.'

It is likly the pump is frozen and every time you crank it turns on the pump and the pump trys to run. But it is frozen and thus blows the fuese.

That would tend to point to the pump, but before disconnecting it didn't help. I'm thinking maybe it's going to be in the wiring near where you were working and moving it around while working on the pump is making it intermittent.
