No backup lights

I have a 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager & the backup lights stopped working. I have replaced the fuse & the bulbs but still no lights. I am guessing I may need to replace the nuetral safety switch possibly now? Can you confirm this as a good next step? Also, can you walk me thru how to change the switch? Thanks.

Usually there is a reverse switch located near the shift column or even on the transmission itself.

Question hi, i have a 91 dodge grand caravan with same problem

hi, i didnt want to go and spend all the extra money because my van has high milage aleady so i just hooked up a toggle switch it does the job. it depends on what condition your vehicle is in and the money your willing to spend on it. a toggle switch is only 10 bucks and a roll of wire 5 bucks not exspensive.
