Lift pickup trk. about 3", Rear only
Got a new wheel chair lift gate for my pickup truck. It's heavy and the truck needs to go up about 3 or 4" because of the added weight.
What's the best way to do this without spending too much on it.
1996 Ford Ranger, standard cab, 6 cyl.
I have a friend that will do it for me but he wanted me to find out what's the best way without buying new leaf springs.

Yeah, a set of air helpers would be the perfect solution to get that back end up again.
these are what I run in my dodge ram 2500.

They are Firestone AirLift Superduty Air springs. Bolt on, and can easily be done in an afternoon.
