Do your other lights work? Like the lights around the a/c controls? Sometimes the actual dimmer switch is broke not allowing the cluster lights to come on. Though the removal of the cluster may not be extremely difficult, a few screws around the black outside trim piece, the cluster itself is fragile. There may not be any "special" tools required besides a phillips head screwdriver, maybe hex screws or allen wrenches. Be careful around the speedometer needles. These things are sensetive.

Some cluster lights are LED's, if so, you may want a new cluster or have someone with soldering abilities to replace these. If it's a typical bulb, remove the trim pieces around the cluster itself.

I'm sorry I can't be more detailed, I have not done one in years.

Yes Mark, the other lights aro und the a/c control & radio all work good. Could it be possible for the dimmer switch to be splitting the dash panel & cluster??

Still blind!!
