dodge durango 2001 model

my 4 wheel drive will not come on at all. what could the problems be? any input would be great.

It sounds like a sensor or switch problem which I can only recommend you go to the dealer to fix. I am not completely familiar with the electronic four wheel drive systems.

Does this vehicle have a switch, or a lever to activate it?

thanks for the info. this year truck has a switch to control the four wheel drive

1990 Bronco 5.0 surging

I have a 1990 Full size Bronco 5.0 EFI and when I shut the a/c off I have a rise in the rpm then a drop. It does not matter if i am driving or what rpm I am at the time. The dealer does not have a clue or does any mec I have brought it too. I replaced the IAC motor, the only other thing I can think of is that I have a problem with ECU, Any suggestions? Thanks,Dean

electrical/computer questions for my 96 blazer

i have a 96 blazer that im turning into a rock crawler. my concerns are about all the elcetrical stuff i no longer need; like the abs systen, and all of the electrical transmission and transfer case stuff. ive ripped it all out and now whould like to remove all the wiring that is just taking up space. will removing all of this cause problems for the vehicles computer, or will i simplty be able to trace all the wiring and remove it. this is the first vehicle ive worked on that is so heavily wired and dependent on a computer system. any suggestions. chris
