93 ford explorer weird noise from front drivers side
my 93 ford explorer is making a really bad clunk in the front drivers side. i know its probobly the tie rod or the ball joint but it dosnt happan on bumpy surfaces a lot as you would expect. when i back out of my parking space i have to crank the wheel too the left as i straighten the wheel out is when it always makes the clunk. i hear some noise on severe dips and bumps but most of the time i only hear the noise when getting out of my parking spot.
any ideas of what i could check before having tie rods or ball joints replaced?
ps i know the radius arm bushings have been recently replaced.
thanks in advance for any advice

Twin "I" beam?????......Check the infamous Radius Arm Bushings........especially the right side one that's close to the catalytic convertor.........If they're toast...........and it's fairly likely........replace with neoprene aftermarket units.............

Thanks guys, the radius arm bushings were replaced i know that but not sure how long ago. Got the explorer from my brother in law and my grandfather was the only owner before him so i know its been taken care of. My brother in law had the radius arm bushings done, not sure if they are neoprene but they are orange in color not black like the other bushings so they might be the aftermarket ones. i was kinda thinking a toasted strut too but not sure, any other ideas?
