The computer?
There are no computers in your vehicle.
There are however,
Powertrain control modules
Transmission control modules
Body Control Modules
What is the problem you are having?

This would be the ECM (engine control module)
Usually these are located in the engine bad with about 2-3 large wire harness connectors going to them.
I don't have a schematic of where it's at, so that's the best I can do.
I'm not even sure if a Chiltons or Haynes manual would have it seeing those manuals are pretty vague to begin with.
Your O2 sensor(s) are wired directly to the ECM, so if you can trace that wire, it will lead you to the ECM.

My 89 GM product the ECM was located on the kick panel under the glove box look there also it is a big silver box with lots of wires going to it. I think they put it there to keep it out of the elements and away from the engine heat.
