'93 saturn sl2 ignition lock cylinder

Can anyone tell me how to remove the ignition lock cylinder from a '93 saturn sl2? Long story short, my ignition lock cylinder got stuck in the acc postion and won't budge. I unhooked the ignition switch from the cylinder and started the car to get it home. I have ordered a new ignition lock cylinder, but how do I get the old one out? Someone said there was a tab you had to pressand it just slid out, does anyone know where this would be?

Thanks,
Byam

you should get lucky because i believe the key has to be turned back to acc to remove the cylinder. this one may be old enough that you have to pull the wheel off to remove a screw to take the cylinder out if you are a DIY'er go buy a haynes manual for your car if you will be keeping it this is a good thing to have for some of the more basic things you can do yourself

I did get lucky, the key got stuck in the acc position and that is where it needs to be to be removed. I found the tab and pressed it in and it slid right out. Now I just have to wait for Napa to send me the new one.
