Check Engine Light is on!!

We have a 2001 Toyota Seinna mini-van in which the check engine light is on.

I took my handy-dandy scanner and it read the that "bank 1 & 2 lean." What does this generally relate to and how might I correct it??

This is usually a fuel pressure problem or a bad MAF. I would have someone hook a fuel pressure gauge up to your rail and check that. If that is good, I would lean more towards a bad MAF (mass air flow) sensor and then maybe some Air/Fuel sensors.

Bank one AND two lean would indicate to me a rather robust vacuum leak.......I'd be checking all the hoses and connectors I could find.........Fords are NOTORIOUS for PCV connector leaks........maybe Toy has similar issues????

My thanks to both of you. I'll check out both!! Frankly, I'd forgotten completely about MAF.
