01 Chev Malibu No Start 3.1L V6

While trouble shooting my "Brake Light" problem I disconnected the connector to the sensor for my master cylinder and started the engine. The light went out then I shut off the engine and reconnected the sensor then the engine would not start. What could have gone wrong ?
The engine tries to fire but just can't get it to start.
I replaced the fuel filter because the last time it wouldn't start that's what it was and the fuel pump was replaced about 50,000 miles ago.
Again it wants to start, you can hear it partialy ignite but not enough to make it run.
Did I pop something in the engine control system when I disconnected the brake sensor ?
I realy need some help from you Chevy experts.

Thanks.

OK, I think I got it. Was reading the op manual and discovered the "Passlock" lock out if there was any tampering.
Have to wait 10 minutes with key on. Lets see.............1 minute, 2 minutes..........

It was the Passlock lockout.

Think this is the first thread on record with four posts all by the OP wherein a question was asked, more info was added, a possible solution was suggested, and the fix was completed!

Gotta love those anti-theft systems.
