My step son (the dummy) wiped out the Honda Accord my wife and I got him. What happened is he got impatient zoomed around a slower driver lost control went over a curb and the impact of the curb was under the rear door passanger side. The damage is the car is bent because it bent the structure under the door enough to make the back door have a big gap were the window sill is. Not only that he hooked a fence and tore the whole rear bumper cover off. He got a new wheel and tire and had it alighned so it would track straight. The question is the rear bumper has side marker lights and when it came off the wires were ripped out. Do you have to have side marker lights for state inspection? State is Texas. Simply amazing how a person can turn a nice car into a hunk of junk in one day. All I can say is he better finish paying me for the car sorry I have to vent.

Can anyone tell me the location of the temp sensor on a 2003 VW jetta with 1.8 liter turbo enigine. I retrieved 2 codes from the OBDII unit, one for high reading and the other for high sensor resistance. But the guage reads fine so it must be an intermittent fault which would lead me to believe it was a wire rather than a bad sensor. But I can't even see a sensor and when I tried to by a book Checker only has them for autos over 4 years old. Thanks for the help.
