It could be a few things but it sounds like a failed a/c compressor.

The seals on the compressor might be faulty causing the refrigerant to leak out causing your warning indicator.

The problems can be difficult to troubleshoot and sometimes costly because it may involve shotgunning parts.

You can test and see if it's a compressor problem by jumpering the relay. You will have to have a relay diagram of what spots to jump.

If you can get the compressor to kick on by jumpering it, you may have a high/low pressure switch bad.

Those are usually the main things.

There are other possible problems as well, like the condenser, etc.

I assume (dangerous word) that you have gauges on the unit and you're not leaking out as fast as it's going in????.#1............disconnect the neg terminal from the battery and clear the codes...........See if they reoccur..........There's a BULLETIN (I know Mark HATES those).........on the PROM for the ECU that helps

Wrench...

I just don't like how the TSB's are so vague. Some of them may offer some good help.
