How do I replace a carborator?

My carborator is broken and I don't want to pay for a mechanic because I am poor. My friend has a carborator he can give me but I need to know how to install it in very simple terms that I need answered on here. Thanks.

Generally four bolts, a fuel line, throttle linakge, choke linkage. Not much to it usually.

Your Taurus does not have a carburetor. What made you think one needed to be replaced?

Don't you just love it when someone posts a question and when additional information is requested the original poster just disappears??

we tried

All you can do is try to help out. Sometimes the poster does not really think a real person is on the other side of the keyboard with intrest for whatever reason.
I am wondering what is wrong because I have the same type car.
