1997 mazda 626 lx 4 cylinder - overheating
My 1997 mazda overheats after about 5 - 10 minutes of driving. One thing I've noticed, is that the driver side fan kicks on within a minute or two however the passenger side fan does not come on at all - even with the air conditioner on. The radiator fluid does get hot as well. Any help or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Several possibilities:
1. Temp sensor bad so no signal for second fan to kick on.
2. Computer problem; getting temp signal but not turning fan on.
3. Fan is bad; need to check for voltage at fan connector to see if it's getting power but just not running.
4. Thermostat/water pump/radiator problem.
5. Bad head gasket; are you having to top off the radiator/tank often and/or is there water in the oil (will make it look a light brown color, sometimes referred to as peanut butter).
