Jeep Power Steering Unit
I have a 1989 Jeep YJ Wrangler with power steering and was wondering if the power steering unit is adjustable? It has an adjustment screw with lock nut on top of the unit like a manual steering unit has. If so how would you do so?

there is an adjustment that can be used to take out a slight amount of slack if there is any in the gear box if you have excessive steering play suggest you check all front end components to see where the play is coming from dont usually recomend adjusting the gear box as often thats not where the problem is.
suggest you see a shop so they can check out tie rods and steering and frontend components to see where exssecive steering play is coming from and if the gear box is found to be the problem you may attempt to adjust it but would only tighten it 1/4 turn at a time and test drive the vehicle if you tighten it to much it will cause problems including lack of power steering.
