I have a 2001 saturn coupe. Now frquently more than usual, when I try to start up the car, I have to jerk the key a few times to get it to turn. When it does turn it sounds great and runs great too. What's the problem? There are no service engine lights or anything coming on.

Try turning the steering wheel slightly and that may solve the problem. I used to have a problem removing my key as well as getting it to turn, and it had something to do with the steering wheel being locked. So, as you turn the key, turn the wheel a little bit.

You probably need to replace the tumbler mechanism. On most cars there's a way to remove the tumbler mechanism with the key and a pin. You should do this before it gets so bad that you can't turn it at all and have to drill it out ($$$).
