94 astro electrical prblem
my van has aproblem with the battery not charging, the battery is good ,
the alternator is new, the belt is new, the van will start on a full charged
battery, i've noticed it seems as if the power to the fuse box on at all time
curicuits don't seem to work , i've checked all the relays and they seem ok .
what can this be? p.s. the book says theres a fusable link but i've
checked all over and i cant find one please help...

Try to get a draw test done on the battery. This test will see if anything within the vehicle is drawing power it should not.
If there is no abnormal battary draw, it can only be 3 things:
1) Battery
2) Alternator
3) battery/alt/starter cables (these tend to be the main cause. Corrosion on the eyelits where they connect to the battery post are prone)
Make sure there are no interior lights, i.e. glovebox staying on.

Alrighty,
Seeing that the alt and battery/cables are good, something is drawing on the battery.
I would start by pulling the radio fuse out. If the battery now maintains a charge, you found your problem.

Start by checking for Voltage at the 10ga wire coming OUT of the back of the Alt with the engine OFF.............This will tell you if the Alt is connected to the Battery.............You may have torched the fusible link that connects the two. There should be 2 small wires going into the Alt..........One should have 12 volts all the time...........The other should have 12 with the IGNITION ON.........Test those wires and let me know where we are from there

Good idea wrench, didnt even think of that.
Also, most GM's fusible links do not have an actual "fuse" like some other makes do. GM's fusible links is just a wire made to melt at certain amperages/voltages.
They will be harder to find. Usually the link wire will be a brownish color.

Had very similar problem with my 92 Astro. Turned out that after replacing starter everything has work great. Before replacing starter voltage only showed as 12 volts when van running, now 14 volts. Hope this helps.
