98 Ford F-150

I have a 98 Ford F-150 4.6 liter engine the trouble I have is that the air conditioner goes from blowing air from the vent panel to the floor when you excelerate or go up steep grades. Is this a vacuum problem where would I start looking for the problem.

Yes, it does sound like a typical vacuum problem.

I would start by inspecting all your hoses in the engine area since it's the easiest.

If those are all well, you gotta get down and look behind the dashboard. You may have to remove the glove box to inspect the airbox area. There should be hoses in there as well.
