99 rav4 grind noise during steering and break

Noise tend to occur while I am leaving a parking spot. I step on the brake then turn the wheel, as I turn the wheel I heard I grinding sound(car is not moving, just turning the wheel), as I try to get out of a parking spot. Noise is gone as I let go of the brake, or stop turning the wheel. There is no noise when I use the brake and the wheel when I am on the road. Any Idea?

Check your power steering fluid for starters.

It also could be your steering knuckles.

Is this vehicle 4x4?

It sounds like it could be the steering knuckles / ball joints. I would have a mechanic do a quick inspection to verify.
