91 chevy corsica needs to sound bad
91 chevy corsica 3.1 What is the best way to make this car sound bad *** . I want it to have dual pipes.
I might not do this until next year, I need some ideas. I know that this is only a v6 and it wont have the sound of a v8 but i want to try it.

The best options for exhaust in your case would be to go to a few exhaust shops. They can custom make exhaust for your car for a decent price. Too make a 3.1L v6 sound.......ok....think about getting the system replaced from the "cat back".

ok not to get off topic or anything but my dad always talks about saving gas. Does steping on the brake pedal at the last minit hurt or burn extra gas? the only thing i know about it is that it is not good for your brake pads, they wear out faster.

The sooner you are off the gas and coasting towards the stoplight/sign, the sooner the engine is at idle throttle setting and burning less gas. I can never understand when I'm coasting towards a red light 100 yards down the road and somebody blasts by me at 10 miles over the speed limit only to have to brake hard when they reach the light. Burns more gas and wears out the brakes faster. Also, if you blast up and brake at the last second you are almost sure to have to come to a complete stop; in some instances if you anticipate well enough the light will change green while you're still coasting and you'll get a running start at getting back up to speed.

also, not many people know that you dont burn ANY fuel under certain idling/coasting conditions.
The fuel management system/engine actually shuts off conserving fuel. I never believed this till I researched it some.
The motor is still "cycling" if you want to call it, by the rotation of the wheels and tranny.

busted
Taking out the cat will get you busted in most states. get a flowmaster cat back system. wont sound like a real V-8 but it will help. Not sure if they make headers for that engine but that will also help.
