Also, if it's a used unit you will be installing, be aware you have probably a 50-50 chance of getting a good unit in and working properly. If the rest of the van is in decent shape you can probably get your tranny rebuilt for about $1500 with a warranty. Doing a tranny on a front wheel drive van is no picnic as OKC hints.
