starter 2001 durango
need advice on how to change a starter on a 2001 darango 4.7l engine. right now when i turn the key it just clicks one time, i have to keep clicking it until it chtches and turns over. if someone has some easy advice, it would help as i am pertty car stupid. and thanks to hotinOKC, grumpy44, and michael van for their help with my elantra fuel filter, that was it and it runs soooo much better now. thanks again----- hat!

You have checked your battery and alternator first? Autozone will test these for free.
If those are good, the starter is usually just held in by 3 bolts. Following your positive battery cable down too it. You may have to remove some stuff to get to it.
