1989 Ford Taurus SW Fold Down Seats
I have a 1989 Ford Taurus station wagon with the rear seats folded down for extra cargo room. I need to put these up so people can sit in the seats but it appears the release latches are broken. How can I remove this seat so I can attempt to repair the latches?

Are you asking about the second row seats or the third rear-facing seat?
On the '94 second row, plastic buttons on the top of the backrest get pushed in to unlock the seat from the upright and down positions. If the buttons are missing push w/ a screwdriver and push down on the backrest to relieve some tension in the lock.
