Vacuum Leak - 1997 Chevy Lumina 3.1L V6
I have a vacuum leak some where in my 1997 Lumina. When accelerating up a hill with the air conditioning on, the air comes out of the heater ducts at the floor. Then, when the engine load lessens, the air comes out of the vents located in the dash.
The first place I want to test is the vacuum reservoir, but I can't find it. Can someone tell me where this device is located in this vehicle?

After digging around, I found the vacuum reservoir below the left headlight. The reservoir had a broken line going to it. The problem with the air going between the heater ducts at the floor and dash board vents has been repaired.

No problem. I'm just glad I was able to find the source of the leak. None of my repair manuals provided the location of the vacuum reservoir. Now I don't have to drive with the air conditioning going up and down from the dash vents to the floor ducts constantly.
Thanks!
