engine misfire at idle
i have a 1992 buick park avenue with a supercharged 3.8 engine about 143000 miles with the car at idle with a/c on in about 5 to 10 minutes it acts like it not running on all six cylinders turn off the air and drive around it returns to full power any ideas???

Sounds like a failing AC compressor. The compressor is putting more of a load on the motor when it's failing.

While the A/C does put a strain on the engine.........You're describing a "misfire"???...........Go the basics, check the plugs and wires, but be advised........misfires at idle that go away when under load usually indicate a vacuum leak of some kind..........Any check engine light???......And if so what are the codes???
