1998 Ford Windstar AC Troubleshooting

Hi I have a 1998 Ford Windstar 3.0 and up until a couple days ago my Ac worked fine but now it blows hot air and the ac clutch just clicks in and out constantly Wondering if anybody had any ideas what might be causing it to do that Thanks

Sounds like it's low on refrigerant. Test the pressure and see what it reads.

I checked the pressure and it read about 100 PSI in the red zone I was wondering if that means it has some blockage and how I might clear it out, or if there might be something else wrong, Thank you

How did you check the pressure? You will not get a accurate pressure reading with the A/C compressor off.

This is why you NEED a Manifol pressure SET to adjust pressure in an A/C system............Simply adding to the low side fitting without concern for the HIGH side pressure can severely damage other components in the system.......as well as
exposing the "technician" to possible physical injury
