91 Gran Am 2.5 stalling
Car stalls at stops infrequently with or without ac running. Starts right back up. What should I check out as a problem/solution. Thanks

How soon after you start it in the morning will it stall out? What is the idle speed in the beginning? - and - in the beginning does it run smooth or rough? Then just before it stalls does it start to run rough first or does it just suddenly die? Does it die when you give it gas when trying to take off? - or - does it just flat out die, even if you are parked idling? Maybe more responses will roll in after we learn more what is going on exactly.

I would first change your fuel filter if you haven't already done so. Depris could be settling in the filter when you are stopping.
If filter is alright and if you have good fuel pressure, it also could possibly be a overheated ignition coil.
The last possibility would be that the torque converter is locking up due to a bad solenoid, but I would check the above suggestions first.

I vote for the Torque Convertor Clutch..........Unplug it and test drive to see if the problem still exists or not... (Plug on side of trans....frt of engine compartment)...
Fuel filter would cause a failure more so under load..........and the vehicle would take a few to restart....Coil would react the same...........Break down under load and no immediate restart
