2001 Monte Carlo ss Switch problem

I seem to have lost both 1 and 2 speeds on my heat/ac selector switch. Is this a switch that needs to be replaced or maybe something else? Also, my turn signals make a weird sound and blink really fast at times, but when I turn the hazzards on they stop and act normal for a while. My guess is replace the flasher. any info will help ty

It sounds like your resistor module is going out on the fan. The module is usually located on or near the airbox behind the glovebox. It is usually black in color with alot of wires going into it.


Regarding lights;

It sounds like a bulb has gone out. Replace the bulbs and see if that cures it. Does it only happen on one side?

Might also have a bulb that's not burned out but has some corrosion in the socket. Good idea to cehck that as well.

both sides ,,,,,,,,is this module easy to change?
