High Oil Pressure?

The vehicle is a 1993 Tioga RV which has a Ford Econoline 350 chassis. The oil pressure gauge has always read on the high end of normal since I bought the RV a couple of months ago. recently it is reading just above normal. I have not yet taken an extended trip in the RV but plan to do so soon. My son who is a pretty good home-garage mechanic says not to worry about it, but I would appreciate any other thougths.

No other indications of a problem such as noise, smoke, engine temp etc.

thanks
Dale

It's a pretty good feeling when you can finally start to accept advice from your son/daughter. I would go with his evaluation/suggestion as well. If you're within the "normal" range of your guage - then you would rather be on the hgh side than the low side....
