No Spark

I own an 85 Toyota Pickup with an 89 chevy V6 4.3L installed in it. I finished all the wiring but am getting no spark. There's power to the coil and i don't think the coil is the problem I even borrow one out of a 1990 Blazer that ran but no luck.No wires are grounded out anywhere. I can't figure it out. I would be greatful for any help thank you.

Is this some engine swap out that you did? And what all have you rewired or tampered with? You have 12 volts going to the coil I presume - but what do you know about your distributor's current ability to create a dwell that will create the high voltage out the big coil wire?
