rear brakes on a ford escort
how do i change the rear drum brakes? I put the new brakes back on but the drum wont fit around the brakes. I need to know what I am doing wrong. Someone please help.

Welcome to the diy forums!
Did you unadjust the self adjuster? It may need to be screwed all the way back in to allow the new shoes to clear. You can adjust them after the drum is installed - or if not too bad let them adjust themselves everytime you back up.
