I'm looking at this Chevy Metro as a possible first car for myself. Here is the ad: http://watertown.craigslist.org/car/379143641.html What are "lifters in the engine"? And would that be a major/expensive repair?

Total sudden electrical failure. This vehicle has never had a blown fuse since new. Now all of sudden I have lost all electrical. No lights, no radio, wipers, nothing and of course NO START. Checked all fuses in three different locations. All intact, except maybe the 80A fuse link is blown. Can't really tell for sure but am unable to remove it from its holder. Other two fuse links come out very easy just as they should. Looks as if the 80A has clip that one should be able to move back and release the fuse link so that it could be pulled from the holder. Not so! Can't get it to release. HELP, please before I have it towed to a Toyota shop. Thanks, David
