Dodge Stratus & EVAP reset

On a 2000 Dodge Stratus, there was a EVAP leak (0422 error code) that (hopefully) was repaired, but the EVAP module hasn't reset yet, so it is unknown if the repair was 100% or not. The MIL is not lit because of this. All other modules have reset. The car has been driven a few days, but still nothing.

Any idea how long it takes for this to reset, or is there a way to force a reset other than a visit to the dealer?

You can have Autozone clear the codes for you. A lot of times, disconnecting the positive cable on the battery for about a minute will clear them for you.

Hope this helps,

Bob

If there are no codes or lights, what is the problem? Was the code P0442 and not 0422? I don't see a P0422 code inmy AllData manual.
