Max coolant

I filled the coolant over the max line (about half an inch). Anything I have to worry about?

No, you will be fine. I would only be concerned if you filled it until it poured out the top. In that case, the pressure would just cause it to overflow when engine is hot. Even a inch over the line won't cause problems at all.

Thanks The weird thing is, is that I couldn't find the "max" line at first and figured if I'd fill it at least 3/4ths up I'd be fine. Decided while I was filling it, I really needed to find that line. So...I stopped and looked harder. Weird that it wasn't in an obvious spot. Anyway, I found it and that's when I realized it was too much. The "max" line was probably about half the container if not lower... so it's good. The cap needs to be well tightened? Or a little lose?

Also, kinda late to ask too but I spilled a little on the outside of it while I was pouring it in. I wiped it up as much as I could. I'm ok right? (Yeah...I didn't have a drainer thing on me. What's it called? I lost my brain today...)

lol.

You are thinking of a funnel. It's ok, it's early in the day.

Just put the cap on hand tight. No need to crank it down, you could cause damage to the cap or threads.
