removing radiator 4 the 1st time
I am looking for advise on removing a damaged radiator in a toyota caldina wagon, in order to get it replaced... It doesn't look that difficult but would like to know if it is something a novice should undertake or not.

If you are at all mechanically inclined or plain handy, SURE you can do it.
Just get rid of everythjing in the way and undo it. Drain out the coollant into a container, as it is poisonous to animals who could drink it. I'd recommend that while you have this opportunity, to give your engine a back flush first. Then do the removal. Then after installation, add new 50/50 anti-freeze/distilled water mix. Run engine and recheck later for air pockets that made water level drop, and retop off radiator and fill resevoir to the appropriate marked line.
I recently did mine on MY car without having done MY car before and it wasn't hard, nor too time consuming.
