Removal of 1996 Olds Ciera Evaporator

I have a 1996 Olds Ciera 3.1 6 cyl engine and the A/C evaporator leaks and I want to remove it but don't know how. It looks like it is mount on the firewall in the engine compartment. I have removed some screw from inside the car under the dashboard and it does seem loose but not completely.
Is it possible to remove it?

I don't believe I've ever seen a car where the evaporator is removed from the engine compartment side. Generally you have to dismantle a fair amount of the dashboard on the passenger side to access the housing and get it out. To make sure you're working in the right place, trace the two a/c lines to the firewall. The heater core will also be close by.

Removal of Evaporator for Olds Ciera

I have disconnected the line set to the evaporator under the hood and everything is mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment.
