no pedal

Question no pedal

i have a 200 ford f450 super duty tow truck< i replaced the brakes, calipers, and drums. i still have no pedal, does anyone have any clues to what this might be.

Have you bled the brakes? If you have and it's still like this, then your master cylinder is probably leaking internally.

Question new master

yeah mark, i put a new master cylinder on, and it is still like this. can it be possibly in the abs system? i appreciate all your help i also replaced the rotors. any ideas?

Where did the brake fluid go, that were in the two lines, when you took off the old master cylinder? Did you see it stay pooled down in the line by the thread fittings (that hook up to the master cylinder) or did alot of it disappear? If the latter, you may have trapped air bubble that now will require lots of bleeding including the rear brakes. You may have created after you refilled a situation of fluid --------->air----------->fluid.

Were you getting brake fluid out the bleeder screws when you were bleeding them?

do u ear some noise when u press the pedal noise like air
is the pedal soft when u press it ?
why u changed the parts?

Question low pedal

i changed the parts because of the low peda. i have front brakes, but no rear brakes. ye i was getting plenty of fluid out of the bleeder screws.

If the back brakes are drum brakes you have to adjust the adjuster so the shoes barely touch the drums.
