Toyota Special Parts

I need a special Toyota part for checking fuel pressure, it is a special banjo bolt, the part number should be 000TG-01252, which is the 12mm banjo bolt which allows a pressure guage to be attached. I called a local Toyota dealer's parts dept and was told they couldn't get the part(probably didn't want to). Does anyone know where such parts can be purchased. They have to be somewhere or Toyota would be able to check fuel pressure. My haynes manul suggests making one with a 12mm bolt, drilling holes cross vertical and horizonal. Any help would be appreciated. Have a good one. Geo

 

I found out through personal experience, that dealership part dept guru's are not the most helpful and the majority of them, not all, are lazy.

Call them again and ask for someone that will actually help you. If they want money, they will gladly order that part for you. If they still are giving you problems, request the service managers help.

 

Try a different dealer
They can vary greatly...and I mean greatly, even a town or two over
