Question Help ID'ing part that fell off my car

Hi All - I'm hoping someone can tell me what this thing is that fell off my car. I have a 2000 Honda Accord LX, automatic, 4 door. I was driving home today and suddenly heard something dragging under the car. I stopped and this thing fell off:

Its a little more than a foot long and maybe 6 inches wide. It was hanging just behind and to the right of the driver's side front tire. Anyone know what it is and how big a repair job it is? I appreciate any input. Thanks!

It's a heat shield for the exhaust...probably went over/under a catalytic converter

The repair is not tough, per say....
But the fact that it came off can mean some important screws/nuts/bolts are rusted though/off/in

Could be DIYed if there is not too much of the connector bits rusted away or into rust blobs, and you can get under there to work

Easy for a shop...should be cheap

Thanks for the reply!

I thought that might be what it was - the same thing happened to my mother's car years ago. Thanks again!
