Check Engine Light is on, but no code.

98 Plymouth Breeze 2.0L 4 cyl 80k miles

I am puzzled. The car had P0302 (cylinder 2 misfire). The car actually shuddered from misfire and hesitated at hard acceleration. The platinum spark plugs were 50k miles old and spark plug wires were original. Replaced both. Engine is running fine. Erased error code.

But the car still has Check Engine Light (MIL) on. Reconnected OBD2 code reader. No code. I am puzzled. Did I miss something?

I'd say it wasn't reset properly

I have a 1996 Chrysler cirrus while driving engine lost power so much it will not pull anymore the engine will not rev anymore than about 300 rpm with full throttle. engine will still start every time but with no rpm only 300. after car sets for a while it starts ok and runs like there was never anything wrong. Should I check fuel filter or coil pack? this has happen 2 times this week. the car has 150,000 miles on it 2.5 liter engine.Read More

vw beetle electric window problem

Hey everyone, hope the weekend was good. I have a 2000 Beetle and the window won't come up, you can hear the motor running when you push on the button, but no go. Got one speculator, says it's the regulator. Anybody want to confirm that? Also on these cars the manual says to unhook the battery before you take off the door panel, and use a memory saver for the ECM, watch out for the airbag deploying, etc. If I'm careful, don't you think I could take this interior door panel off and not have to unhook the battery. I don't have a memory saver, and the nearest dealer is 45 miles away if I had to have a reprogram! Your cigarette lighter has to be one that is on all the time, too.
