1999 ford econoline van instrument panel lights
the lights went out in the instrument panel, the only one left on is for the speed, its crazy driving at night no dash lights, is there a way to take off the instument panel and put new bulbs in???? and how would you take the panel off????

Before ripping
out your dash panel, try moving the brightness control.
The location varies by manufacturer, but usually they are a seperate control in the dash or part of the headlight switch. Try twisting the headlight knob.
My car's contol got flaky and caused all the lights to go out. I'd think it would be rare for every dash light to burn out at the same time..... but it's possible.
BTW, before this happened, did you add a stereo, alarm system, jump the battery, replace the alternator or mess with the under-dash wiring?
