Ok, I ventured into uncharted warters today to remove my air bag from steering wheel to try to get to the broken horn pad.

I did get the assembly out but was unsure if I should disturb the factory packing of the air bag to get to the horn pad.

I went with my better judgement and re-assembled everything but left the horn connection dis-connected at the steering wheel. ( my horn won't shut off).

I guess I will have to install a bypass horn switch somewhere near the dash panel.

Can anyone tell me where the horn relay is located on an 01 Chev Malibu.

And has anyone else had this problem with their GM equivalent model and what did they do to fix it?
