Gas pipe repair

My gas filler pipe on my 94 Chevy pick-up has a crack in it before the vent line. Of course this is a pain because fuel is spilling out whenever I fill up. Is there an epoxy or something similar I can use to seal up this crack or do I have to replace the whole thing? Thanks for any help in advance.

Your best option is to replace the filler pipe. Most epoxies are not fuel tolerant and will deteriorate quickly leaving you with the same problem again.
Hope this helps ya,

I whole heartedly agree with Billy.

There is no repair for this hose besides replacing completely.

It shuold fairly simple to replace as well and not that expensive. (look in a salvage yard)

That's what I was afraid of. A friend of mine said I could try some blue and yellow putty stuff that turns green when mixed (no duh) but there was no guarantee if it's still sold or if it will hold. He used it a long time ago for the bottom of his gas tank and it worked. I think I agree with both of you and will have to check salvage yards. I called the dealer today (dealer part) and it's $134.
