91 Isuzu Trooper 2.6 wont strart when warm
I have a 91 Trooper with 2.6 4cyl. It recently started to not start once warm. When cold it will start right up and runs great. It runs fine at idle and when on the road. If I turn the engine off and try to restart it, it will turn over and try to start but wont run. If I let it sit for 1-2 hours and try again it will start right up. I have also tried to replace the cap and rotor but can seem to get the rotor off? I thought you should just be able to pull it off but it won’t budge???
Any suggestions???

It could be faulty water temp sensor for the computer. It may be reading a cold start condition and semi flooding the engine.
Another possibility is the fuel. Some of the winter blend fuel is probably starting to make its way into the market now. The problem it causes in hot weather is equivalent to vapor locking. The fuel in the rail evaporates when the engine is hot and turned off. It causes difficult hot starting.
Hope this helps,
Bob
