Hyandia Accent

My daughter's car just quit this morning. It seems not to be getting fuel. My guess is the fuel filter or fuel pump. Are there any easy ways to determine which one it may be???

Fuel Pump or Filter?

It's not likely that a plugged fuel filter would completely stop the flow of fuel. If you have absolutely no fuel flow look at the fuel pump system including any relays, hoses and wiring that may be involved. If the fuel pump is in the tank you can often hear the pump running. Remove the gas cap and listen.
