Plow affects
06' Dakata quad cab. Mfg does not reccommend a plow but, plow mfg's say that they make specific plows for this vehicle.
Any opinions out there?
Thanks,
Lance

I would follow what Dodge states while you are under any type of warranty.
You can put a plow on almost anything if you want. Obviously your transmission, suspension, etc would be working overtime when plowing.
If you do go this route, make sure you get a large transmission cooler. They are reletively cheap ($30-50) and install in about an hour.
I think your truck would handle a smaller 6-7' plow.

I second Hot's advice. I can find listings for some of those plastic plow blades for cars but that doesn;t mean you should use it.
The manufacturer of the vehicle would be the best advice to take. If they do not design a vehicle to use a plow, I would suggest the vehicle would be overburdoned by using a plow.
Heck, they all want to claim there vehicles are indestructable even when they are not so if they say theirs isn;t, I would listen.
