high idle

Hi I just replaced my intake gasket on my 91 chevy van 350 with throttle body injection when i had the intake off i cleaned the bottom of all gunk! when i put it back together engine wont idle down wondering if theres a senser on the bottom of intake that i could of damaged? any help would be appreciated thanks

I would say you have an intake leak. If you didn't get the surfaces completely clean and the bolts torqued in sequence to the specified torque the intake may not be sealing = leak = higher idle rpms.

yes sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere
