1998 Jeep GC front end tire wear
My 1998 Jeep Grand Cher with full time 4wd feels like the front differential is locking-up sometimes when turning. This is causing extreme wear to both front tires on the outside. I checked the wheel alinement and it was good. What could be causing this and what is the best fix.

I don't know anything about the grand cherokee but I have a regular cherokee. When a 4x4 is in 4 wheel drive [especially with limitted slip] the front wheels are in a bind [you probably can feel it in the steering wheel] - I'm sure this is what's causing the excessive wear.
My jeep has 3 four wheel settings, full time 4 wheel [1 rear and 1 front] part time [all 4 wheels] and 4 wheel low [all 4 wheels]
What kind of 4 wheel selections does your jeep have?
