Olds Alero Mirror

I lost my Rh mirror glass on my 2000 Alero. It does not look to have any broken Pieces, no signs of being hit and the Pwr Drive Still works. Does anyone know how the Mirror Glass Assy is Attached to the Adjusting Drives. I just have an Circular Drive in the Housing with the Motors still there. Do they make just the Mirror that is either snapped in or put on with adhesive that is made for replacement. Or is a whole Mirror Assy needed. Thanks in advance for any help.

The mirror glass is available. Don't know if a dealer would have it, but do an on line search. The right mirror is more expensive because it is convex. Believe that it glues to the drive.

:confused: I have a 97 Buick Park Ave. After I put my car in park my headlights start blinking even when I turn my car off. It will happen for about 1-2 minutes. College student asking for advice here... There's this car I'm seriously thinking of buying. There is no airbag because the owner hit a deer. Not a lot of rust, just that one spot. Tires are all good I can get the car for $575. Assuming the engine and transmission work fine, is it worth it and how much would a new airbag cost? Also, if I get it I want to insure it at my home town. Is there a temporary permit or something I can get so I can drive it home?Read More
